Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA)
FBA stands for "Fulfillment By Amazon."
It is a distribution method where you as a bookseller ship your inventory to Amazon for storage in their distribution center warehouses.
As orders come in, Amazon is responsible for filling them on your behalf.
That means Amazon pulls the item from the shelf, securely packages it up, and ships it off to the customer without your involvement. This arrangement gives the small seller virtually unlimited warehouse storage space at an incredibly low price because it’s subsidized by Amazon’s economies of scale.
At least that's how it's been up until now.
Amazon seems bent on jacking up fees lately, but fulfillment by Amazon
still seems to be a pretty good deal.
It hope that answers your question. Good hunting.
