Internet Bookselling News & Views, Issue #17 April 27, 2014 |
April 27, 2014 Hello Again! Last week I promised you that I'd return to a more normal publication schedule and I'm keeping that promise, starting with this issue. I'm really excited about the information I pulled together this past week and published in the Internet Bookselling Blog. For example, since I know that more than half of my readers are women, I've started writing articles that address their specific concerns based on the questions I get from them in private correspondence. You can read the first paragraph of the “Stay-at-Home Mom Jobs” post shown below from my introductory article in the series. I also started writing a series of articles that cover business metrics in much greater detail, the first of which you can read below titled, “Sell Your Used Books Using Business Metrics.” As for Advanced Internet Bookselling Techniques, I've returned the galley proof to the typesetter to correct quite a few mistakes. I should hear back within a week. I'll have another update in the next newsletter. Once again I want to apologize for the delay. Some of you have waited a long time and I truly do appreciate your patience. Finally, have you joined the Internet Bookseller's Forum yet? If you haven't then you're really missing out on some highly entertaining and informative discussions. It's a friendly group that's dedicated to helping fellow booksellers succeed. It's free and you should join today by reading the forum guidelines and then clicking the blue box at the end of the page register for your free membership! I hope you enjoy the following selection of bookselling tips, tricks, and techniques. Don't forget to eMail me with your feedback or join the forum and let me know what you think there. Good hunting.
